If only these lasted longer...
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I post a picture and just a few words.

Although I suppose we enjoy them more precisely because they are here for such a short time.
And for those among us with seasonal allergies, it's a great mercy that spring doesn't last forever.
(I could have taken a photo of our household eyedrops and inhalers to capture spring, but I thought a blossom would be a little more fun. ;))

How beautiful! What kind of a tree is it? I've never seen one quite like it. We are so far behind up here. Not even the narcissus have started blooming yet. I'm desperate for things to grow.
I think it's a cherry tree (it's my parents' tree, not mine!)
We have these cherry blossoms our front yard....they line my neighborhood street. We came home on Friday from a week out of town and they were all in full bloom! We were so surprised! I just love them!!
Looks like a Kwanzan Cherry (ornamental). Mine just finished blooming in Virginia.
We woke up to fresh snow on top of lots of old snow that hasn't melted yet so those blossoms are delightful! We won't be having spring in our neck of the woods, "just ten months of winter and two months of not so good sledding". Haha ☺ï¸
Beautiful flowers. Love this aspect of spring.
Frugal allergy tip of the day - getting a Dr. RX combined with insurance makes Flonase significantly cheaper than just buying the newly over the counter version! Maybe everyone knows this already, but I just learned about it this weekend. 🙂
Oy, I should for mine it did. Of course everyone's insurance is different....
I just saw a ton of these ornamental double blossoming cherry trees down in DC this weekend. All the Yoshinos were done blooming but these are stunning!
Every time I open your website, I look forward to what you have posted. But I did want to let you know one of my most favorite things about this site is your header picture of the baked muffins. When I see it, it makes me smile. Great "branding" as my first thought when I see a muffin tin or even when I bake muffins, I think of "the frugal girl". Thanks for all you do here!
What I love about that picture is that the muffin pan isn't perfectly clean, it is as it should be!
Me, too. The picture just always makes me smile because it is so "real". 🙂
I think that's prettier than the peach blossoms on my mini-dwarf trees!
