Well, hello.

I am still here!

I just haven’t been at my keyboard.

First of all, Mr. FG and I were traveling for my brother’s wedding.

Kristen and Mr. FG dressed up for a wedding.

And last night as soon as we got home, Sonia and I had to take an ambulance ride to the ER due to an asthma attack.

Kristen and Sonia sitting in a hospital bed.

This was AFTER all the breathing issues were resolved. 😉

So, we didn’t get home and into bed until 1 am. But the important thing is that Sonia is breathing easy now.

Anyway…I will get back onto the blogging wagon shortly!

My in-laws live(d) in Lititz! Cute little town. Sounds like a lovely trip. Can't wait until my husband and I can do those again.

Saturday - not a great day... I had a flat tire and husband had to rescue me; my mom fed the kids dinner, my husband got a chipotle bowl while he waited 3.5 hours for roadside assistance, I ate some scrambled eggs with sliced up hot dog after getting home (-- did anyone else eat that growing up?? What a comforting memory) Sunday- we were all sick and a bit miserable/mopey. We ate some french toast for dinner, God bless my poor husband for making dinner on Father's Day. :-(? Monday- buffet of leftovers from previous week. Tuesday- chili mac (using meat from the cow we bought, and organic macaroni from the clearance cart), steamed green beans Wednesday- Leftover chili mac, steamed broccoli. We certainly do eat boring sides. I would happily make something more interesting like scalloped potatoes or baked squash, but my kids are so happy with boring stuff I guess I won't fix what isn't broke... I've tried more interesting things but they just raised an eyebrow and asked for plain broccoli. Thursday- we all needed a pick me up, so we picked up Panera bagels for the kids and went to the park. We all felt better afterward! Husband and I ate random food after we got home and the kids were in bed. Friday- I was thinking about quiche since we have like six dozen eggs but I'm gonna make homemade pizza because that's more Friday night-ish.

That must have been scary. I'm glad she's feeling better now. Take whatever time you need to recover.
