Wait, this is June?

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I post a picture and just a few words.

The weather is cloudy, wet, and cool right now, but summer weather IS coming, I know.

Speaking of summer, I’m pleased to announce that Beth Anne is the winner of my box of fun summer stuffs.   Beth Anne, I hope you love all your summer goodies!

And thanks to all of you who entered the giveaway…it was fun to read about your favorite aspects of summer.

We’re pretty much done with school here (just a little history to finish up, which I totally DO NOT MIND. Yay for history!), and the craziness of May is behind us, which means it’s time for me to put together my annual summer bucket list.

Look for it soon!

When’s your life going to switch over to summer mode? Or are you already there??

My son's last day of school was May 22nd, so we are already in summer mode here. I love not having to get everyone up and ready and out the door early in the morning. Instead we have some much needed non-scheduled time.

June is a busy month for me because of summer classes and special occasions like baby showers and birthdays. It already felt like summer last week with the hot temperatures but now its back to feeling like March!

You teach History, awesome! That alone puts your kids streets ahead of public school kids. And if you teach Geography too, well they will be even further ahead! Try to find an American kid who knows any History or any Geography. It is hard to find one.

June is so full and crazy for us! My husband graduates, we are getting a new nephew and summer camp (work) starts, which means I go to full time for 10 weeks. It's already been really warm here, but summer starts for me on June 17, the last day of school. I can't wait!
