  1. Zoe continues to amuse us!
I have a granddaughter who reminds me of your Zoe: While discussing the need for undershirts/camis, she replied, "But I don't want the noodle shirts." Do you get it? She doesn't like spaghetti straps.

  2. She got the message across with grace. Now....if only it had made it to the recipient! Or, perhaps it did and that's what the recipient chose to do with the note? Either way.........priceless!

  3. I agree with your last comment... If all bad news was delivered with "kindest wishes" the world would be a kinder place. Thanks for sharing this!

  4. I find notes like this around the house all of the time. Sometimes they are funny and sometimes sad too. I always take a picture so I can remember these precious moments, because before long they will no longer be writing them. 🙁

  5. Sweet child 🙂 I recently unearthed a file of my kids' notes, written when they were about her age. They got a huge kick out of them.

  6. I came across a "contract" the other day that my daughter had written years ago when her younger brother wanted to borrow her rubber boots. She could only have been eleven or twelve at the time, but it was filled with the most official "legalese" words she could come up with. The jist of it was that if he didn't return her boots clean and in the condition he borrowed them in, he owed her 50 cents or some such. (She had just cause for concern!) It made me smile, and so did Zoe's letter. The "kindest wishes" part is priceless, just priceless.

  7. Such a serious yet funny note. At first I laughed but then I thought how upset she must have been to write it the first place.
Never the less, you must be so proud of her, she is polite and kind with her words.
    Dimi 🙂
