If you need me, I’ll be in 2011.

Because, um, I might have a My Publisher Living Social deal that’s expiring today.

(I’m working backwards to catch up on old photos, and I’m currently in spring 2011.)

If you bought a voucher when I did (at the end of July), you might have one you need to use today too! 😉

old fashioned merry go round

I have made two photo books since I purchased this voucher, but unfortunately, those were to use up two other vouchers I already had.

So I’m last-minuting it with this one.

By the way, if you’ve been wanting to try your hand at a My Publisher book, next week could be your lucky week.   I’m teaming up with My Publisher on Monday to give away FIVE vouchers good for a 20-page photo book!

And now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to sort through more photos.

Such a great idea to start current and go backwards. I think I will have to copy that idea. Photobooks have long been on my list of to-do's, which I plan to start as the weather sends us inside more and the kids schedules slow down.

The only problem I have is that I have quite a number of years in film. I'm not sure if scanning the pics to make photobooks would turn out a good quality photobook. Any thoughtsor sugggestions? I would much rather have them than those large, bulky, and cheap picture albums that ultimately fall apart.

Kristen, I seem to remember that not too long ago, you posted a review of sorts about My Publisher, regarding your thoughts on their various options/upgrades. Can you tell me where to find that review? I've never used them before, but would like to give it a try. Thanks.

Addy--was it this one? https://www.thefrugalgirl.com/2013/07/thoughts-on-my-publisher-photo-books/

I'm excited to start a My Publisher book for my animals (I have no kids...I figure I can get the nerdy stuff out of the way to develop skills..and then when I DO have kids...bam! Set :D)

I really need to do some 'time-travelling' and digital organising of my own! Every time I read one of your posts about photobook, it reminds me how behind I am with all of this!

It seems like just yesterday you posted that picture of the kids jumping, but look how they've changed! If it weren't for the pictures you could never remember it all. I'm so behind on organizing my pictures....maybe this winter.

I love the black and white of Sonia and the bubbles. Beautiful.

After trying a few different photobook companies in the past, we stick with My Publisher now for their easy to use template program, consistent quality, and seemingly endless deals and discounts. We even used My Publisher to make our wedding photobooks and they turned out great! Have fun making yours! :-)
