Food Waste Photo-10.31
Two lowly pieces of French Toast are in my picture this week. I actually had several opportunities to eat these, but I was exceedingly unmotivated. For some reason, leftover French Toast is very unappealing to me, and I decided that I felt more like throwing them away than eating them. I am ashamed.
If only I had scraped up some motivation, I could have had a no-waste week(my second ever!). Ah well...it's not like I wasted a lot of money, or filled up my trash can with my waste. And there's always next week!

Do you like warm bread pudding? That's what I make with leftover French toast or stale cake. Or sometimes I just put it in the freezer and reheat it in the toaster oven another day.
I lost your site! But now I'm back with a hearty congratulations for two great weeks. I'm off to catch up on all your news now. I hear you on leftover french toast - I would have given it to the birds 🙂
Wow. That would not be left in my house! I LOVE French toast!!!!
Maybe if I start taking pictures of the leftovers we throw out on Tuesdays, I would be more motivated to eat the leftovers.
Thanks for the idea.
AG, I like bread pudding. I never thought to use French toast for it, though.
Amber, it has been VERY motivating for me. I say give it a shot!
Mrs. Green, I'm thrilled to have you back. 🙂
Bethany, I wish you'd been here to eat it! lol
what a great idea - documenting food waste. french toast will freeze though, no?
I love leftover french toast. I turn it into a pb&j sandwich (ham and cheese is also pretty good). Also if you put it in the toaster, it comes out just a good as fresh.
