A kid in a candy store.
Well, there was more than one of our kids in the store.
The store had bins of candy, so we put together a very mixed bag of treats. Naturally, we threw in a few fish for Zoe. 😉
It was an over-priced, but delightful experience.
And this part of the loot was mine.
Chocolate-covered marshmallow candy is my most favorite treat in the world (well, except for chocolate/mint candy).
Is that the Frugal Boy? I don't know if we've ever seen pics of him. And it's weird calling him "boy" lol 🙂
Yup, that's him! I hadn't thought of a name for him, but I suppose he would be the Frugal Boy if I'm the Frugal Girl. Or he could be Mr. The Frugal Girl. lol
He's the one wearing the mushroom shirt in a previous post, but I think that might be the first time I've posted a picture of him here. He's the most camera-shy member of our family, so I can rarely take a picture of him without getting myself into trouble. lol I seem to get more of a free pass on vacation, though.

And this is why we're frugal. To thoroughly enjoy our delightful nonfrugal experiences. (OK, there are many reasons, but this is one of the best, in my opinion.)
You say your husband is camera shy but I notice that your eldest daughter doesn't appear much either. Does she take after daddy?
To me and based on that one shot, Mr Frugal Girl looks very young.
We must be peas in a pod, Kristen. Chocolate mint and chocolate covered marshmallow are my faves. I love those chocolate marshmallow eggs at Easter especially.
William, I totally agree. I've even been thinking about doing an intermittent series of posts titled, "This is why I'm frugal".
I passed the compliment on to my husband. He gets that a lot even though he's actually 7 years older than I am.
My older two kids are more likely to be annoyed with me and my camera than my younger two are, so they don't end up in pictures quite as much. Maybe tomorrow will be an eldest daughter picture post, though, as I DO have some pictures of her from this vacation!

How anyone can stand marshmallows in anything other than s'mores or sweet potatoes is beyond me. 😛
