  1. Not having restaurant food often makes it a treat.
We need treats once in a while for variety in our daily lives.
Your photo makes me crave Chinese food.

  2. As it should, Kristen. As it should. In my house, it's fried chicken wings, fried rice, and shrimp egg fou young. Or the large any way you want it pizza.

Whatever catches me up and gets me back on track.

  3. When I first saw the post title I was so impressed that you made homemade wonton soup and eggrolls! 😉

    1. I immediately thought the same thing! 🙂 So glad we're not the only ones who have those types of days.

  4. The nice thing about Chinese takeout is if you know by lunch time that you're going to want it for dinner, you can go at lunchtime and get the same food at the lunch prices. For my family of 4, ordering off the dinner menu costs $35 but if I plan ahead, I can get the same food & same amount of food off the lunch menu for $25. And of course ordering take-out gives you the advantage of not having to buy drinks and tip...which saves another $15. My 2nd favorite way to do Chinese take out is at our Chinese buffet. They let me load up 2 lbs of food for $14.

  5. The only time I have these is when we go to Chinese suppliers food which is not very often. Thanks.
