Pea Coat Shopping (for Joshua)
We are a family that likes black wool coats...I've had one forever, Mr. FG's had one for a while, and a few Christmases ago, the girls all got black wool pea coats.
Joshua had a coat like Mr. FG's a while back, but he outgrew it and then went through a phase where he seriously did not want a black wool coat.
Which is why he's jacket-less in this photo from 2011.
(side note: the children! They are so short!)
He's recently come around to the black-pea-coats-are-hip thing, though, so Mr. FG, dear man that he is, ventured out to the mall with Joshua out to find one. They went through lots of stores and found nothing just right, so then they ended up at Target.
Target had a black pea coat that Joshua liked and it was a decent price.
The only problem is that they didn't have one in his size.
So Joshua and Mr. FG called me, I looked the coat up online, and lo and behold, the coat was buy one, get one 50% off if you order online, and the shipping was free.
Sweet!
Joshua doesn't need two pea coats, but he's in a very growing stage of life, so I put two coats in my online shopping cart...one in his size, and then one the next size up.
Then! I remember to check Ebates (yay me!), and I found out that you can get 5% cash back at Target.com.
(Howwww did I not know this before?)
Anyway, that was lovely discovery.
And then I remembered that promotionalcodes.com had sent me an email and a gift card because they wanted me to check out their coupon code site.
So, I hopped on over and what did I find but that they had a coupon code for $5 off any Target.com purchase over $50! (which was still available as of today, so go snag it if you need to shop at Target.com.)
Bottom line: I got two coats for Joshua (one at 50% off), free shipping, cash back from ebates, and an extra $5 off thanks to promotionalcodes.com.
Yayayay!
