Oh, right, it's Friday. Sorry. I've been busy being fun!
Tuesday, we dressed up as cows.
Wednesday, we went to a $1 movie (check on the bucket list!), and then went swimming for the rest of the day (another check on the bucket list).
And yesterday, we made a day trip to the ocean.

Which, of course, was yet another check on the bucket list.
As a result of all this fun-having, it wasn't until this morning that I realized, oh, it's Food Waste Friday!
So, I haven't cleaned out my fridge or photographed it or anything. But I will do that today, and either this afternoon or tomorrow morning, I'll put up a Food Waste Friday post.

Random food waste Friday rant! My teenager decided that he was going to buy some of his own food and took over the bottom drawer of our fridge (not the rant, this part is just fine). He bought carrots and peppers to snack on. He is never going to eat them... They are sitting... I cannot touch them as they are his... it is driving me CRAZY that they will be wasted... I want to cut them up into sticks so he will eat them... but they are his...!!!! Thanks! I just needed to get that off my chest. Feeling better!
Meh, I'll take summer family fun over food waste every time. Enjoy your summer!
You're in the swing of the Summer hols - ours start tonight. In less than an hour yay! yay! triple yay! So looking forward to doing what we want and when we want to. So many ideas.
My Food Waste Friday post is up - directing everyone over here to link up. My food waste confession this Friday was pretty extensive. I hang my head in shame. Quite literally I put my face in front of the camera this week to give myself a short sharp shock. How many times can a girl say 'erm'? answer = lots!
Blerg - I just added clean up the fridge onto my Friday to-do list. There are dibs and dabs of stuff in there that we just flat don't want to eat. And my college kid has taken up a whole shelf with her diet food. So that's one less person to eat leftovers. This weekend I will pack my lunches so I suppose I could add some of that stuff in. But, it's pretty dispiriting this week!
Looks like you've been having a great time! That is way more important than food blogging. Enjoy!
We did alright over at our place, but had too much fun last week that ended in a little bit of waste.
What a fun week! Sounds perfect.
Family fun is always number one!
