First up, I, uh, accidentally broke all my permalinks (temporarily) yesterday morning, so all of you email subscribers got the wrong link to take the survey.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to those of you who have already filled out the survey. I really, really appreciate you taking the time to do that, and I'm grateful for your feedback, both positive and negative.
As I read through your comments yesterday, I kept wishing there was a "reply" button so I could respond to all of your comments!
(For instance, someone wondered why I don't have a search bar, but there's been a search bar in my sidebar as long as my blog has existed. So, if you're the person searching for the search bar...it's over to the right.)
While there are some outliers, the survey results so far show a lot of consensus among you all about what you love, what you don't love, and what you'd like to see in the future.
I'll leave the survey open for a week to give everyone a chance to fill it out, and after that I'll do a post summarizing the results and sharing what I plan to do in light of all the feedback.

The Pin It button has been at the bottom, but several people said it was too hard to pin posts that way. So, it's up at the top now too.
Also, a reader said she was having trouble navigating around between posts, so when you're on a specific post page now, there are some links up at the top of the post to help you move around. I hope that's helpful!

Ha, I have been wishing for a search bar as well! Funny, I don't always have my browser windows on the maximum width, so the extra stuff is all stacked on the bottom and I honestly have not ever seen a search bar... So I use google. 🙂
Regarding your photo, I recognize the petunias (light purple) but I'm curious to know what the smaller, darker purple flowers are??
You know, I have no idea! I took this picture while we were on a field trip, so the flowers don't belong to me, sadly.
I think that part of search bar issue is that it is kind of buried between the adds - feels like it is part of the adds, actually. Maybe better placement would help, or perhaps outline the box more prominently...
I would love for you to put the comment link at the bottom of the post. Often, I don't know if I have a comment or if I want to read comments from others until I have read the post. Makes more sense to be at the bottom not the top.
I completely agree. Sadly, my theme has no easy way to do that, so I'm in the process of hiring someone to tweak that for me. It's beyond my knowledge level!

Oh, I'm so glad you found it. Yay! I'm sorry that it was hidden...it used to be lower, but I moved it up a few notches to make it easier to find.
