Thankyou for the reminder. I really needed this.
I love this quote! Could you tell me who it is from?
If anyone else is curious, I look up the quote and it's by Epicurus.
I'm so sorry-I meant to add that in there and totally forgot!
Thanks for the timely reminder! Autumn is such a glory season in Texas...time to get outdoors again and enjoy the natural world.
I need to remember this 🙂
Absolutely true, and something I really need to keep firmly in my mind.
I've has this feeling of not wanting anything quite often lately. Occasionally, I get a little nagging voice that says I should be setting new goals or striving for something. Funny how conditioned we are. Next time that voice is heard, I'll tell it to seek out Epicurus.
So needed this today as I'm wanting baby number 2 and it's not coming along like I had hoped. God gave me this today...thanks for letting him work through you!
I needed this for the same reason, Jessica! It's time for me to put my focus totally on the 2 sweet boys I already have. If God wants to bless us with baby #3, He will... in His perfect timing! Thank you for posting this timely reminder, Kristen!
This is a great reminder to be content! A lesson I'm always striving to teach my children but I still need an often reminder too.
I completely agree with Epicuruse's words as I also think that we should enjoy and appreciate everything we have, because we won't be able to repeat right this moment...Enjoy simple things and be happy all the time. Live your life as you and only you are supposed to live as everyone is unique 🙂 Do you agree?
