Our family has been out of town this week, so I haven't grocery shopped or menu-planned yet. Gotta unpack, take stock, and get myself organized for the return to real life.

I just happened upon your blog last night, not sure how. I wanted to tell you it's a great blog. It's logical, practical and inspiring. Thank you for your no nonsense approach to being frugal. Not for nuttin, your family is lovely as well.
I know the "not wanting a vacation to end feeling." I had the vacation blues when I visited Canada this summer. I fell in love with that country and could have seen myself situated their even though a local said "it is becoming expensive to live their." I checked out some vintage stores their. Guess what, they had a good will store. In spirit of the frugal girl, I went in. I have not seen a "good will" store in NY, where I live. All the more to have the travel blues. lol.
