Groceries, Menu…

img_4877

I spent $51.85 at Aldi, and at Weis, I spent $20.05(to be precise!). I had a coupon for $8/$50 purchase at Weis, but I just did not need enough stuff this week to justify using that. So, I gave it to an older couple who had a cart full of groceries. 🙂

My groceries added up to $71.90 this week, so I came in under the low end of my budget again…yay!

Breakfast this week will be fruit, cereal, bagels, and hopefully granola(if I find time to make it!). Lunches are a combination of leftovers, yogurt/yogurt smoothies, fruit, veggies and bread/sandwiches.

Plus, I already do make an awful lot of stuff myself. I think I will just let my husband keep buying a bottle of wine here and there. lol Unless, of course, he wants to take up wine-making himself.

I think fermenting wine is a bigger hassle.

Nope, neither my husband or myself likes beer much. We do drink a bit of wine, but not so much that it would be worth it to do it ourselves(at least I don't think it would be).

Well...I balanced it out by having a smoothie for dinner.:P Trent at The Simple Dollar inspired me to try brewing my own beer. I can start bottling my second batch in 2 weeks! I don't know if you drink beer, but if you do, brewing your own is pretty fun!
