Face Painting

I’m doing some scrapbooking this afternoon, and I thought it might be fun to share these pictures of my kids (I’m currently using them on a layout). These are from a music festival a sister church of ours puts on every year to benefit a local shelter (admission is a can of food), and though Mr. FG had taken some of our kids before, this was my first time.

And that means it’s the first time it’s all been recorded on camera too. ;)

Joshua got a reptile, of course.

A butterfly for girly-girl Lisey.

Sonia is a huge turtle fan (she likes red-eared sliders and Galapagos turtles the best!), so this was perfect for her.

And we would all have been surprised if Zoe chose something other than a fish!

In case no one ever mentions it (yeah, right), you have really beautiful children. :)

Have become an avid reader of your blog in the last year – too funny, we were at the same music festival. What a great time! My boys loved the rock climbing wall and the music. My older son got the same snake, but on his arm! I heard of it because we’re big fans of the band Sweet Leda. Definitely plan on attending next year.

They look adorable! I couldn’t stand getting my face painted as a kid, so I doubt my parents have such cute photos of me floating about.

You never know though…they might have some from when I was too little to put up any resistance.

My little one is reluctant to wash her face when she has her face painted, but the paint flakes all over the sheets and pillowcase! :-@

We’ve solved that issue by taking a picture of her face art and reminder her that she can keep the picture forever.
