What kind of weekend are you having?
Mine is shaping up to be a good mix of getting things done and hanging around and having fun.
Of course, sometimes getting things done is pretty fun, so maybe my whole weekend will be delightful!

Another weekend working on cleaning out my in-law's home for sale (they've moved to assisted living). Going through 50 years of stuff has been emotional for my husband and his family, but it's a wonderful reminder to keep only that which serves a purpose or brings us joy!
Baking cinnamon buns (can smell them already), taking my teens to the SAT (can't believe they've grown up so fast), replanting the part of the garden where the slugs had a feast, picking and freezing rhubarb (to eat next winter), visiting a friend in the hospital, and a family dinner to bring us all back together at the end of the day. It'll be good.
Studying like a maniac for the bar exams, the first of which I write on Tuesday.
I am going to work on my blog a bit. Catch up on a huge pile of laundry! Start seeing what our used homeschooling curriculum is worth on line so that I can effectively price it for an upcoming second hand curriculum sale, and I am going to make taking a nap a priority both Saturday and Sunday!
I started by sleeping in - it was my main goal for the weekend. 😉 Now, after some homemade yogurt and granola and a few cups of tea, I need to go plant some grass seed where we had a pipe break last week as well as do a bit of other yard work. Husband and daughter are at the first of 2 softball games this morning - only one more on Monday and then we'll have family time back for the rest of the year - yay! Now, if I could just get out of this cozy chair... 🙂
My toddler slept until 8, so I enjoyed time with my husband. We enjoyed doughnuts and hanging with our kids. Later my hubby and I will have lunch and shop a bit . It is such a beautiful day here. June 1st and 70 degrees. Have a great day!
Well... I started with fresh coffee and flax peanut butter with strawberries on top of a homemade bread roll. (YUM!)
Next will be going to pick up my bike from the bike shop and heading to the farmer's market.
Then... not sure. It's supposed to be 73 and sunny today (first rain-free day in... about 72 hours). 🙂 I need to clean a bit. Dishes are calling my name....
After my son and I go to the farmer's market and the grocery store, I have to dedicate some time to my final exegetical paper on Psalm 91--once I finally get it done and turn it in, I'll be on a short break before the summer quarter! I cannot wait for some down time!
Sleeping in, making sure my son goes to a library volunteer orientation, seeing a one-woman play that my friend is doing and wearing pajamas as much as possible.

Pool time this morning, coffee with a friend and lazily enjoying the sunny afternoon with a book.
.........wet!!
Still trying to organize homeschooling stuff, took teen to visit her friend in the hospital, drop off said teen to babysitting job, took kids to pool, fixed dinner, pulling weeds, and tomorrow: cleaning house and laundry!
I'm visiting local breweries (one was in a guy's garage! The other has a $1 tour!) and playing board games with friends!
Here in U.K. It's the queens diamond jubilee so l am going to be watching the flotilla down the river Thames this afternoon eating a cream tea! As expected, it is raining. Concort tomorrow night outside Buckingham Palace - rock on your Maj!!

Cold. Wet. But hey, it's the Queen's diamond Jubilee so we've had a ball!!!! :0)
This is definitely NOT a blog ad, but I've just posted a few photos - the wind and the rain are evident, but it keeps the drought away so no complaints!
I am so excited that I just have to share with you that we are moving across country in two weeks and there is an Aldi in close to our new home! We shopped at Aldi while living in PA and in Germany. I am so pleased to be able to take advantage of all of their great deals again!!
Woohooo!!! That is excellent news. 🙂
About to cut my first home-grown broccoli ever. Very excited. Broccoli is one of my favorite veggies, I've never managed to grow it before (I bought plants this year rather than trying to start seeds yet again), and this the first cutting. I spent the weekend at a friend's and as a consequence the broc. is almost too close to flowers. I may let one of the four plants flower, just to see what it looks like.
a little of this and that... My nieces dance res ital. Sons soccer game, grocery shopping, fruit stand. Was able to sleep in a bit, a bit longer then my normal wake up time which was very nice. And shoot the weekend is over.....
