I'm gonna be scarce this week.
Hey guys!
I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I'll probably be quiet here this week. We're busy finishing up school (woohoo!), plus Lisey is starting driver's ed, and I'm thinking blogging will need to take a back seat.

See you on the other side!

Have a great week! You can do it! 🙂
Hello from beautiful Vancouver BC...Excellent weather this week in the city...rising river levels elsewhere.
Question: In baking bread from scratch...what if i forgot to knead the bread? I am 68 and my Mom 91 years' in good enough health, (near Toronto, Ontario, whom i visited 2 weekends ago,) forgot to teach me the trick. Please advise!
kneading breaks down the gluten and gives you a 'fluffier' loaf. no kneading gives a hard loaf with no air in it - okay to eat while it's still fresh and warm and with lots of butter, but only good for dandy bread crumbs once it hardens.
having said that - yotube and google will show you to knead, how long, etc., and give you recipes for actual "no-knead" bread
Totally understandable! We all need a break every once in a while. Enjoy the rest of the week! 🙂
So will blogging and driving student's Mom both be taking "a back seat?"
Sorry, couldn't resist. I know you are excited to see the school year end. Good luck with the driving "school!"
Haha, yes, I guess so!
Be blessed in your blogging rest and life busyness â¤ï¸
Always good to see how you've got your priorities straight. The integrity of your blog shines through. Love to your family.
We're doing drivers ed with a 16 year old this summer, too.
My kids are nearly terrified to drive so the hardest part is getting them to relax and actually give the car some gas. Older child took a long time to feel comfortable behind the wheel. She didn't even get her license until she was 20. Hoping my little one will feel more at ease.
Stay safe with the imaginary brake that all parents have!
Best thing I ever did was pay for my youngest to have private driving lessons. The teacher was great and after 4 days (just the instructor and daughter) of 5 hours, that Friday she took the driving test and passed on the first try. We had done some driving around town but I was afraid to take her out on I 95! Instructor had the brake on his side too so I'm sure that helped her with confidence LOL! I've recommended that school several times.
Ooh, I'm missing me some Frugal Girl! Hope all is well.
