Food Waste Photo-11.7

This has only happened once before, in August, so don’t be too impressed….but, I have wasted no food this week! Woohoo! I really feel like I have gotten into a pretty good groove with this lately. Even on the weeks when I have wasted food, I’ve usually only wasted a little bit, and most of the time my fridge is an empty shadow of its former overly crowded self. I love it!

Now, as I mentioned yesterday, I’m hoping that some of you will join me in posting your food waste each week. I doubt anyone is ready to participate already, but I’ll put the Mister Linky widget in the comments anyways, so you can see how it works. If you blog about your food waste this week(you don’t even have to take a picture…if you just want to link to a post on the topic of food waste, that’s fine with me!), I’d suggest you wait to share your blog post until next week, as you’ll probably get more hits that way than you would if you came back to this post.

If you’re feeling shy about sharing your pictures here, please don’t! Remember that I was the queen of food wasters, so I’m not going to be judgmental. And, remember that I’ve been working on this for almost nine months now, and I’ve still only managed two no-waste weeks. I haven’t exactly kicked this habit overnight, and I certainly don’t expect anyone else to either.

Even if you don’t decide to take a picture of your food waste, you might try imagining this week that you have to show me and other bloggers how much food you wasted, and you’ll maybe get a taste of the motivation I’ve been experiencing for the last nine months. 🙂

The Mister Linky is below(I don’t know that those of you on email feed will be able to see it, though, so just ignore this!). Whenever you are wanting to participate, you’ll just enter your name and the URL of your food-waste blog post. Regular comments are enabled too, so you can feel free to say something even if you don’t have a food-waste post to share. 😉

Oh, I'm so glad, Rachel! I'll look forward to seeing your photo. :)

Mrs. Green, are you going to participate?? Hmm???? lol

I'm sorry you weren't able to find any fridges like mine. I know they say everything is bigger in the US...the houses, and the things that go inside of them.

Wahee! Fab photo - well done you and I'm looking forward to seeing the rogues gallery when people step forward to join in. Oh, btw; I went looking at fridges yesterday and they are TINY compared to yours. Or you might get a nice big fridge and a freezer fit for a couple of ready-meal trays. It was **very** disappointing :(
