Wonton Soup and Egg Rolls

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I post a picture and just a few words.

Because hard as I try, there are just some days when dinner cooking doesn’t happen and Chinese carryout comes to the rescue.

The only time I have these is when we go to Chinese suppliers food which is not very often. Thanks.

The nice thing about Chinese takeout is if you know by lunch time that you're going to want it for dinner, you can go at lunchtime and get the same food at the lunch prices. For my family of 4, ordering off the dinner menu costs $35 but if I plan ahead, I can get the same food & same amount of food off the lunch menu for $25. And of course ordering take-out gives you the advantage of not having to buy drinks and tip...which saves another $15. My 2nd favorite way to do Chinese take out is at our Chinese buffet. They let me load up 2 lbs of food for $14.

Encouraging to know that I'm not the only one!
