I’m pretty sure that this:

broken plastic measuring spoon

is never going to happen to these (which I got for Christmas last year):

stainless steel measuring spoons

They’re so durable, and then there’s the sleek and stylish design…

Let’s just say that they kind of make my heart sing every time I use them.

It’s the small things, people.

I have the almost-perfect set from The Container Store.[1] The set is made of metal, includes 1/2 Tablespoon, and - here's the good part - has two bowls per spoon. One is round, the other oval. The only thing I don't like is that they're magnetic so stick to each other, but I know others who love that.

[1] I had a dollar for every time I mentioned this place, I'd be rich, rich, rich.

I love these magnetic ones (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Magnetic-Measuring-Spoons-by-Progressive/dp/B002IAPK5A), I've had them for years. They have a round and a narrow spoon for each size so you can use them for anything. And they stick to your fridge!

I like how your new ones are nice and narrow. Mine are completely round, which is annoying because they don't fit into my spice canisters!

Are those the Williams-Sonoma measuring spoons? We got them as a shower gift ten years ago. Love, love, love them and they still look brand new.
