An Announcement, and a Nameless Picture

I took a photo on the road that I couldn’t come up with a name for…any suggestions?

Katie February 19, 2013 at 9:17 am: I don’t have any sugggestions on what to call it, but I love it! The yellow and black sign really pops against the gray tones of winter. This photo looks like something you’d see in an art exhibit!

Tina B February 19, 2013 at 9:42 am: I’m not sure what I’d call it other than “the underside of a bridge.” You’ve hit upon one of my favorite objects to photograph. I don’t just photograph the underside of any bridge, but some of the cool or unique ones. I had the opportunity to take a boat ride in San Francisco and got several angles on the underside of the Golden Gate. I’ve been under various monorail tracks at Disneyland and Disney World. I look for the shots that I think are out of the ordinary.

Rebecca Haughn February 19, 2013 at 12:30 pm: How about Structurally Sound ? I like the texture of concrete and how it fits into the surroundings. We pass them everyday and never really consider them so this is very good to share. Thanks for sharing it. Love all your pics.
