You not only have a gorgeous family but you capture them on film so elegantly! I love that your son has his own 365 blog, that is so cool! I am a new blogger and found that your site was providing a nice amount of traffic to mine (I’m still learning analytics!) but thank you! Your site is such an inspiration of the direction and growth I would like to have, and the values to which you live your life are ones that I try to live by myself and hope to incorporate when I have a family of my own!

Oh my goodness! I’ve been mispronouncing Lisey’s name in my head this whole time, when really it’s just like my sister’s! (Aleise, aka Leesie, and she’s the oldest, which is why for a long time I thought Lisey was your oldest, go figure)

I stumbled onto your recipe for coffee shop corn muffins today because we ran out of Jiffy mix. I have been looking for a from-scratch recipe that is sweet enough for a long time. I made your recipe this morning and the children loved it (and so did I)….thanks for posting it!

I also read your link on serving God by serving your family. It was just what I needed today. Thank you for your bold post!

We are musicians and also enjoy frugal living. It is amazing what you can do with what God gives you. There is always enough.

I’m in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. It was in the 70s this past weekend, but that’s unusual for March. We’re back to 50s now, unfortunately. But, spring days are a-comin!

Hi Kristen,
How refreshing to see happy, frugal Christians sharing with each other! I have just begun a new homesteading adventure with my family and have been looking at blogs
to see what others are doing. We, too, are frugal minded and are happy to be debt-free (as my husband quotes, “Owe no man anything but the debt of love.”). Four months ago, we sold our house (which was all the debt we had) and moved to our 4 acre property. We have no house (much to the dismay of many) and are living in a FEMA camper. We have a lot of plans and a lot of work to do. Our friends and critics say we are taking frugality to the extreme, but we are so enjoying where we are. Thanks for your ideas, I’ll be stopping by often.

I’m not new and its been a while since I’ve left a comment. I still enjoy getting The Frugal Girl in my inbox. Since I’ve first subscribed for The Frugal Girl my life has gotten rather busy. I’m now attending school full-time at a local University, and it has really been a challenge: going back school and working at warping my brain around my courses. More than ever I see the need to be more frugal and I realize being frugal can be fun if its done right. Thank you Kristen for you helpful and godly advice and good suggestions. My goals are to be debt free and experience financial freedom.
