And there are chairs around it.  The girls made this for their “little guys”, which is a catch-all term for the very small animals toys they have (Japanese erasers and other things around that size).

Speaking of Japanese erasers, I normally strongly dislike fad-type things, but my kids love, love, love their Japanese erasers.  They don’t use them for erasing, of course, but they play with them all. the. time.  Each of them has a name, which I can’t keep straight.  I do know that the pig you see there is called Hamlet, though.  ;)

As long as it doesn’t go around with an eraser of a skull saying
“Alas, poor Yorick I knew him, Horatio: a fellow
of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy: he hath
borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how
abhorred in my imagination it is!”

Oooooh dear. An image just popped into my head: poor Hamlet, a few loosely strewn legos and little Joshua… vacuuming away. ;)

I used to love mini erasers too as I was a kid. They were so cute that I couldn’t just erase with them. That would have been such a wasteeeee. Love this photo. Your posts are making me slowly become more comfortable with the thought of children! (that really does say something Kristen!).

Wait, what’s the deal with the erasers?

My daughter went through the My-little-pony phase. She collected almost all of them too! My oldest boy was crazy for Power Rangers…so glad that’s over! I did make some cute my-little-pony “patches” for her outfits for Alexis and Power Ranger Halloween costumes for the boys which they used as PJ’s for years and years!
