I’ve told (and showed!) you before how Sonia is a snuggler, especially with Mr. FG. If she spies him sitting down, odds are good that she’ll be next to him or on his lap in short order.
I took this one yesterday morning after we did family worship. We used to do that at night, but because of Mr. FG’s schedule change, we’ve been having a cozy time of reading the Bible, praying, and reading Chronicles of Narnia after breakfast now.
Not only do I like this picture because it shows how snuggly Sonia is, I also like it because you can see her crazy hair. I combed it back into a ponytail at breakfast, and just a few minutes later, it’s managed to get all fluffy. She doesn’t have very much hair, but the hair she’s got has some attitude.

simple pleasures. makes life all worth it!
You need to get the book “Curly Girl”. Naturally curly hair must be treated differently from naturally straight hair. This book will change the way you approach her hair and help tame it. It will especially make a difference in a few years when she’s a teenager. And yes, I’m a Curly girl. Spiral curls all over my head; fought the curls for decades until I discovered this book. This author has naturally curly hair and is a trained beautician also. Really. It will make a huge difference. If you want some quick tips, email me. I’ll be glad to share.
You and Mr. FG are good parents and your children reflect that!
Absolutely wonderful picture! I’m sure Sonia will treasure this when she’s grown up.
Hahaha I love that you said her hair has attitude! Mine definitely does too!
I have a snuggler too, but her dad and I are so not snugglers; we have to really make ourselves sit still and cuddle with her.
