She really is mine.

But with her blonde hair and blue eyes, Sonia would fit seamlessly into my sister’s family, which is comprised of 3 blonde boys with blue/green eyes.

If I didn’t know better, I’d definitely guess that the two on the left are siblings, and I don’t know that I’d think my two girls are related!

My brother is blond and blue eye’d while the rest of us are brown hair and eye’d. If you take the pictures of us and make them black & white…. It then makes sense. I love Zoe’s smile and those itty bitty teeth.

Oh my! Your family has some stinkin’ cute kids!

Sonia almost looks like a porcelain doll… she just has such striking, pale features! It’s beautiful :) Not that Zoe isn’t! Gosh those eyes and the curly smile. Just makes me happy :D

You know, on more than one occasion, I’ve thought the same thing about Sonia. She looked like a doll when she was a baby, mostly because her mouth has that same shape they use when they mold the faces a baby dolls. And in several photographs over the years, I’ve thought that she looks like a doll.

My little girl is the same way, blond hair and blue eyes and I am a brunette with hazel eyes. It should be interesting to see what my next one looks like.

Your girls are darling! We have the opposite problem at our house. Three very blonde and one light brown (hubby and I are both blonde). It’s funny, when child #4 was born, he came out with long curly dark brown hair (the other three were were blonds and bald). My obstetrician, who delivered all my kids, jokingly asked who this babies father was. He so did not look like the rest of us. Of course, now he and my oldest look almost identical, so I guess he’s part of the family!

When Sonia was a baby, she looked almost EXACTLY like Joshua did as a baby (she even had darker hair then). But then somewhere around the time that she turned a year old, she just started having her own very unique look.

So, when she was born, she didn’t raise any eyebrows, but she does now!

Sonia does seem to be the outlier.

She is, but we love her for it! It’s kind of fun to have a blondie mixed in with all the brown-haired people.

My hsband and I both have brown hair and brown eyes. Our daughter has light brown hair and blue/gray eyes. My first son has VERY blond (like Sonia’s) hair, and BRIGHT blue eyes. My younger son has dark brown hair, and his eyes have blue, green, AND brown in them. All VERY different. I was actually asked a couple times (at Wal-mart, wouldn’t you know) if they were all adopted! I was just recently asked f they were from the same Mommy and Daddy…who asks something like that?! I had to laugh though, because they really don’t look a lot a alike.
