(and a longer dress. I swear it fit her last time she wore it, but she must have had a growth spurt since then. The dress is now in the hand-me-down pile.)
Anyway. Even if she was tall enough, she’d need a quarter to be able to see anything through the eye holes, but that doesn’t keep her from trying.

why couldn’t you put a pair of shorts on with the dress? (as long as the dress fits fine every place else….) Would at leasts get the rest of the summer out of it…
I was thinking the same thing—toss some shorts under there, and she’s still good to go! I can’t believe how big she is getting.
I know! It’s lovely and bittersweet all at the same time.
If she didn’t have a bazillion other dresses to wear, I’d probably do that! (although I’m not sure she has shorts that would match that dress, come to think of it)
As things stand, though, she still has plenty of dresses to wear.
I completely agree….this would make an adorable top or a cute pillow atop a girls bed.

Oh couldn’t you just put a nice ruffle at the bottom to extend the length? It fits her so well otherwise.
Leggings and it could even be worn this fall.

Oh, yeah, some cute capri shorts! Or leggings that have shortened but still fit. Or shall I say grown out of the length!
