In the summertime at Weis, we always back into this parking spot so that the Aldi groceries in the rear of our van benefit from the shade.
Because a black vehicle on a black parking lot in midday sun can be sort of like an oven.

I feel your pain! I have a black vehicle with leather seats….it is awful in the heat. Your van looks nice and shiny!
If you hit multiple stores on your grocery day, do what I do. I put my cooler in the trunk, with either several ice packs, or an empty milk jug filled with water and then frozen. It keeps the fridge and freezer items chilled during other stops. I wouldn’t do it for all day, but for an hour or 2 it works and keeps ice cream and meat cold.
Just wondering if you have purchased a new van. You have talked of saving up for one, but the van is this picture looks really nice and new. So, it is the new one? Just wondering.
