Oh, electric griddle! How I love you.

I received this griddle as a Christmas gift from my in-laws, and I love it to pieces.  I’m normally not a fan of multiplying appliances, but when it comes to pancakes, french toast, fried mush, or, as in this photo, English muffins for a family of six, I consider my griddle to be an awfully valuable kitchen helper.

The question is, why did I wait so long to ask for one of these???

I am in need of a new one! Ours only has one setting now and that is HIGH. What kind did you get?

I love my griddle too! I used to have one that goes on top of the stove, but it always heated so unevenly that it was more of pain to use than anything else. I find that it makes big weekend breakfasts more fun and not at all a chore.

I love mine too. I don’t use it all that often but for pancake mornings or soup/sandwich night it works wonders. Otherwise it would take me forever to make enough pancakes or grilled cheese sammies for 6 people!! Love your site! Thanks for your honesty and fresh perspectives!!

Oh yes, we barely have cell phones. lol We just have some pre-paid phones that we hardly use, so a landline is a great deal for us.

LOL. I’m laughing because I got one from my in-laws for Christmas as well. I have a family of five and oh yes! I totally love it.

I too would love one of these.
I do have a (non-electric) one which fits on top of one of the burners on my stove but is quite difficult to regulate.
I have been looking for the recipe for English muffins on your site but haven’t been able to find it.

Hehe…I just used mine this morning for hash browns, bacon & pancakes … mine came from the church rummage sale, $2.00, this past spring. I’m so happy with it … and for the price, thrilled! English muffins huh?

I couldn’t live without mine..well, I could, but wouldn’t want to. With 4 males in my house I can make 8-10 sandwiches for one meal and being able to make 8 at a time is a huge timesaver!
