And we musn’t have that! I can’t function properly without my kitchen towels.
My towel drawer WAS getting a little empty.

My mom was tossing out a stack of towels like that because they were ripped or stained. I took them and now my fiancee and I are not in want of kitchen towels.
are those tie-dyed washcloths? because, if they are, you just got way cooler in my book.
They are indeed. We tie-dye every year at Joshua’s birthday, and we usually die some washcloths along with our shirts.
I cut up my worn out t-shirt and sew them into table towels.
Not pretty to look at but useful.
I have two whole drawers full of kitchen towels. One of terry for wiping hands and one of muslin types for dishes and spills. I am trying very hard to break the paper towel habit. Husband? Not so much…
my husband just had to go cold turkey. He didn’t mind though.
My husband had to go cold turkey too. He complained at first but he has gotten use to it.
Blue! I see a color scheme there!
this reminds me that i REALLY need to do my kitchen laundry today. i’m down to my last towel and it just isn’t going to cut it. :-p
Your kitchen towels are so pretty! Mine are mostly old, stained, falling apart hand-me-downs from my MIL that my husband had when we started dating…soon it’s going to be time to restock!
Oddly enough, most of these are from our wedding, which was 13 years ago. lol Some are a little threadbare, but a lot of them are holding up very well.
We’re like that with the towels. A paper towel roll lasts us years.
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!! TO HAVE A NEAT TOWEL DRAWER FULL OF BEAUTIFUL TOWELS FOR THE KITCHEN IS QUITE AN ACCOMPLISHMENT!! SOME TOWEL DRAWERS ARE FULL OF SHREDS!
I like the idea of tie-dye! I have a few towels that I bought not too long ago and they are stained. I see a project for my kids in the near future! Thanks FG!
I’m loving the tie-dyed ones!! How fun!
Where’d you get them?
The tie-dyed ones? We did those ourselves, using plain white washcloths from Aldi.
