This is my kind of flower…hardy, vole-resistant, and super easy to grow from seed. This particular plant got eaten down to almost nothing by some random creature, but it grew back and is now producing flowers. Marigolds rock.

I had to stop growing marigolds. They are so hardy, they were taking over my whole garden!
O I hear you, my sister-in-law planted some giant Marigolds and not only did they spread but grew up to the doors height! I think their are 2 kinds of sizes of Marigolds…The good news is, when we ran them over (some grew over the driveway) , the aroma was very pleasent!
