Know why this clock paper is wrinkly?

Because it’s my bathroom clock.  I don’t think the clock manufacturer meant for it to be in such humid conditions. ;)

Having a clock in the bathroom is a little bit unusual, but I have to highly recommend the practice.  It’s so nice to be able to glance up at the wall while I’m getting ready or while I’m getting my kids ready (we have a clock in their bathroom too!), and I think these clocks help to keep us on schedule and on time.

I had a clock with the same problem. I took it apart and glued the paper to the plastic back. It looks good and works well again. People gave me grief for not just buying a new one, but it is still going a few years later.

We have clocks in our bathrooms, too. I think that it helps the kids (and me) to stay on track in the mornings, and it also helped them to learn to tell time when they were younger. Couldn’t live without it!

I HAVE to have a clock in the bathroom. I have to have a clock in every room because I don’t like wearing a watch but I want to know what time it is all the time! Plus I like some decoration in the bathroom other than the essentials and a clock and a pic of my baby make my morning go smoother.

I do wear a watch, but a wall clock is just so stinking handy! I can just quickly glance up and see what time it is.

Amazingly enough, there are no people photographs in either of my bathrooms.

I agree, a clock in the bathroom is a must. We have one bathroom that seems to have poor ventilation. We had difficulty keeping a working clock in that bathroom – they kept getting too humid and the clock would stop. So, we finally bought an indoor/outdoor clock that was made to withstand the humidity. It’s worked like a charm! And now I’m much closer to being on time.

Now, is this the same clock from the picture in the main post, just about 25 seconds later? :)

Yes, except it was 25 seconds before, not after! I was fiddling around, trying to figure out how best to photograph the clock, and this is the first thing I tried. I noticed that the wrinkled paper was noticeable from that angle, though, so then I stood the clock up for the rest of the photos.

I think you should take a 8×10 of your kiddos and cut out the circle and replace the wrinkled paper on. Wouldnt that be precious??? Then you could……….

Ok, could my english have been any less broken??? lol

Take a 8×10 “photo” of your kiddos. Use the cover of the clock as a template. Cut out the clock face from the photo and replace the wrinkled clock face.

There is that better??? lol

I knew exactly what you meant.

How kind of you to come up with some things to fill my empty days. I totally wondered what I was going to do tomorrow and now I know!

Phew.

;)

That’s funny! For years, we had a clock in the masterbath (looked JUST like that one, crinkly paper and all) …. when we redid the house, I told Hubby that I did NOT want a clock in the master bath any longer, that I wanted that to be the one place where I could “relax” and not feel pressured … I know it’s sounds funny, but seriously, when I’m getting ready for work, I KNOW what time it is but don’t want a clock staring down at me, ticking away the seconds as I apply mascara! :)

My mind wonders a lot especially when I am drying my hair or applying makeup (probably because they are two things I don’t do every day). Clock in the bathroom reminds me that time is still passing even though I am daydreaming. :-) Also, if you are applying something like a conditioner or other treatment that requires timing, the clock is there instead of having to get ahold of a timer.
(oh yeah, I don’t wear a watch, either.)
