How coincidental! My fiancee and I were playing Monopoly last night (the PS3 version as we cant find all the pieces to our board game) It’s mostly luck but dang, she sure kicks my butt every single time!
Yes, the no-trading version of Monopoly doesn’t much depend on strategy.
Do you do the Free Parking money-in-the-middle thing?
We do the free parking in the middle thing, $200. But now that my kids are older, we also allow trading and any property that someone lands on but doesn’t buy gets auctioned to the highest bidder. It makes the game a lot more interesting.
I’m glad others value trash-talkin’ with board games – half the fun I say.
