Sonia’s a small person, but she’s surprisingly strong (she can do triangle pushups, actually), and yesterday at my parents’ house, she happily cranked the ice cream maker for quite a while. She did eventually hand the cranking responsibilities over to some of the men in the family, though.

My thought exactly. In our family, we call my granddaughter’s arms “Michelle Obama arms”.

You should enroll Sonia in a gymnastics or tumbling class! I was (still am, I guess) small for my age, and gymnastics is one place where that is an advantage!
