Since it’s obviously been there since last October, I think we can safely conclude that pumpkin-scraping spoons are not compostable.
I found this in my compost bin.

I’d just run it through the dishwasher and save it for October.
Oh yes…I never meant to get rid of it (it must have hitched a ride with pumpkin guts), and I washed it and stored it for use this coming year.
It’ll last forever! Not sure that’s a good thing…
It is ready for another year of pumpkin scraping!
Send it back to China, where it came from, and buy another one – made in the USA. (If you can find such a thing!)
We found knife in ours a while ago! It had been in there just over a year- the (wooden) handle was a little worse-for-wear but it’s now used for outdoor jobs
I checked the bag of my vacuum cleaner the other day.. Lego and little easter figurines.
I guess the problem with your pumpkin scraper would be the color? Too similar to the color of the pumpkins themselves.
