I think a little ceramic man with a gray wig, lipstick, and an I-don’t-even-know-how-to-describe-it expression* is just what my living room shelf has been missing, don’t you?
*I’m vacillating between “I’m much better than you.” and “Come hither!”.

I guess you have been finding your treasures again in goodwill…..
good one!!!!
I most definitely had a ballet picture frame like the one on the right. My entire room was ballerinas and dance-themed at one point. I think almost all of it ended up at the goodwill!
Just say the word and I’ll get you one. Maybe even two if you’re lucky!

“Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without”
Too funny!!! Thanks for the laugh!
I think the word is “supercilious.” haha
He’s got that “Haters gonna hate” expression.
I don’t know….he makes me think of a line in a Tom and Jerry cartoon where Tom is trying to woo a girl cat. He says, “You set my soul on fire….”
I think it would be fun to repaint & decorate him to fit your mood, or to reflect the changing seasons, etc. Today he’s a scarecrow holding a straw hat, tomorrow he’s a leprechaun holding a purse of gold. Leave him around and if anyone’s bored, they can quietly repaint him and see who notices and whether they can guess the artist.
What’s he holding? I’m serious, is it a pair of lady’s panties?
Oh my soul. lol It totally does look lik that!
I think it’s a hat, though.
I laughed so hard I cried when I read your comment. I guess the thought of panties in his hand and the perverted look on his face. comic relief at Goodwill
I’m going with:
“Hey, Baby. Your momma let you date?”
Definitely “Come Hither”
yes that is totally it!!!!
I’ll admit I thought it was a pair of panties too that he was holding… then the “Come hither” comment would have been very *ahem* fitting.
What bizarre things you can find at goodwill
Definitely “come hither”! Too funny!
There’s a mug there that makes me laugh as much as this guy. It says something like “we love our granny” and it has a photo of 3 kids smiling on it. I thought, who is going to buy a mug with someone else’s kids on it? But I had to laugh when my hubs said “look, even Grandma thought the mug was a cheesy gift so she gave it to Goodwill”. Now I check every time I go to see if it’s still there. Something tells me this guy and the mug aren’t going any where soon!
