This is the result of cleaning expired coupons out of my box (and granted, I haven’t done it since about January, so I suppose this isn’t too bad).
Very often, I find that even when I can combine a sale and a coupon, Aldi’s prices are still better. So, a lot of my coupons sit in my box, unused, until they expire.
Which is why I don’t think I’m going to much miss my newspaper subscription and the accompanying coupons inserts.

It works better for me to have a magnetic pad of paper on the fridge. As I run out of items I add to the list and paperclip my coupons to the list. Sometimes I’m in a hurry & don’t get around to look through the stash of coupons. But as they come in, I try to paperclip the really useful ones right away. Right now I have a free box of Multigrain Cheerios & a free Mars Bar coupon with my list!
Funny that this happens to me too!
Did you know there is a way a person can donate there out dated coupons and they can be used by the people in Hati? I can’t tell you who is doing it but you might be able to look it up.
You can also donate coupons to military families stationed overseas. Overseas commissaries accept coupons up to 6 months out of date. I don’t have the website at hand, though.
I clip any number of coupons I don’t end up using. It doesn’t take me much time so I don’t mind. The most time-consuming part is filing them by date. This is time-saving in the long run – I rarely lose a coupon to expiration because these are at the front of the section – but sometimes it seems a bit tedious. Works for me.
Shoppers is offering to triple coupons up to $0.50 and doubling up to $1.00 this week. You may be able to use these up yet!
