You can’t see it in the picture, but they have a jaunty little heel too…perfect for wearing with my jeans that are a little too long (incidentally, when you are 5′ 8″, how exactly can a regular pair of jeans be too long?? It’s not like I’m short.).
Of course, my cute black button shoes came from Goodwill.

There are cute!
Love the Shoes!!
I love them! I have some that are kind of like them, but there is no cute little heal on them. Good find!
Side note…I agree with finding jeans that are too long. It can be hard finding “long” jeans/pants for a decent price. I am 5’8″ too and love wearing heels but I am limited if I have to find pants long enough. Cute shoes!
Mine are actually TOO long, which is what confounds me. How in the world do shorter people manage to wear these?
Love the cute shoes! I am 5′ 8″, too. I find pants are either way to long or an inch to short!
I have turned a couple of pairs of too short jeans into capris, though. I love Goodwill! I’m on the prowl there for cute summer skirts, right now.
Dear me! I’m a shorty indeed compared to you! 5’1″, I am, so all my pants are too long…hence why I sew so much. The shoes are definitely cute. I thought for a moment they were one of the girls’ toes showing!
LOVE THEM! YOUR FEET LOOK SO TINY!!!
They are SOOO cute! They look like they have never been worn.
You think you have it bad at 5-8. I’m 5-10 and wear shoe size 10 1/2 its next to impossible to find pants or shoes at Thrift stores but I still keep my eyes peeled for the occasional item that will fit. Like Glory, I sew a lot.
I’m 5’9″ with a size 10 1/2 to 11 wide (depending on the shoe). That plus being a curvy-all-over-except-the-bust kind of lady makes finding clothes in general a pain in the rear. Why the assumption at places like Lane Bryant that all women with broad shoulders have giant ta-tas too?? I have a harder time finding long skirts than jeans, though. At least jeans come with the option of “tall”. Long skirts hit me awkwardly – right at that part of the calf that looks terrible on everyone.
On a side note, if you’re ever in the market for floor-length skirts as a tall woman, check out websites that market to Muslim women. My sister, who’s an inch taller than me, has actually had to hem some skirts she’s ordered from places that cater to Muslim women. I’ve gotten hand-me-downs from her, and it’s the first time a long skirt actually looked right on me with heels or boots.
I am 5’10″ and 130 pounds which is up from the 118 pounds that I had been most of my life. As far as finding pants long enough I love the 12 pounds that I put on because now I can wear an 8 Long (have you ever tried finding dress pants that start at a 6 Long! You can’t.) As for finding long pants, one of my favorite places to shop is NY and Company. I get their emails when they have sales and sometimes can get a good deal on dress pants and jeans. Other places that I find long pants is on line at J C Penney, and sometimes I can get long jeans at Wal-Mart for a reasonable price. Because long pants are so hard to find I am willing to pay (if it is not too outrageous) for a good fitting pair of pants because I know that they are hard to fit! I am the same way about shoes too – try finding a 8.5AAA in shoes that don’t fall of your heels!

love em. love em even more now that I know the have a little lift.
Raye, I loved your comments! I’m 5’9 3/4″. I always weighted about 125 lbs. Once I hit fifty, things changed. Last year, I came home from a four week cruise vacation and tipped the scale at 162!! I was shocked! I went on a diet and lost 20+ lbs, with about 5-7 more to go. Oddly enough, when I was bigger, the length thing became easier. Now that I’m losing weight, the battle to find long enough pants is back on. Just today, I tried on two pair of pants and both were too short. They were the longest ones I could find in my size in the whole store.
I’m not familiar with NY & Co. and had no idea JCP sold tall sizes. I’m off to check out both sites. I have skinny heels too, so I love lace-ups and strappy shoes!
Diane,
In case you haven’t had a chance to go the NY & Co. website here is their website link – http://www.nyandcompany.com/nyco/
You might also want to check their store locations and hopefully they have one near you because they carry alot of Talls that their stores too! And they have lots of sales!!
As for JCP, they seem to only carry their talls on their website now. They used to carry Talls at their stores but I guess the demand was not so great. Also, not only does JCP carry Talls but they also carry Ultra Talls too on line!!! Just look under the Women’s section for the Talls.
Good Luck!
Raye and Diane — I’m 6′ and usually wear a size 8 tall (34-35 in. inseam), but after a year of nursing my son, I dropped to a size 6 and was able to find tall jeans at Lands’ End. There’s a Lands’ End outlet store near me and I got a pair of really nice 6 tall jeans for $10! They also have deals every week on their website, so you may be able to find some there too.
I got some of the ultra tall jeans from JC Penny once, and they were too long! I think they had a 37″ inseam!
Well I don’t have your problem Kristen. I am only 5’9″, but I have a fairly short torso and very long legs. I wear western brands of pants (like real Wranglers or Petrol) which are not cheap, but they are actually sized by waist and inseam length. That way I can get all of my pants with a 34 inch inseam and I know that they will actually be long enough for me. Of course, I live out west and have always been a country girl.
Cute indeed! I think I’d like to know what brand of jeans those are as I always have trouble finding them long enough!
Oh, so, so cute! Gotta love Goodwill!
I love love love the shoes! People who don’t shop at Goodwill or other thrift stores are really missing out on super good deals!
I love them! I just got myself two pair of heels for jeans at the local thrift store. I’m a bit obsessed with jeans and shoes right now, so I am at the thrift store a couple times a week. It’s worth it when I find something really cute. Thanks for sharing.
