Joshua has 10 cousins, with one more on the way, but only 3 of those 10 are boys (and the one on the way is not a boy.) Of course, the boy/girl ratio in our own house is 1/3, so if we did a picture with all the girl cousins, a lot more children would be involved!
It’s a good thing Joshua has his friend Thomas and at least a small handful of boy cousins.

We’re similarly distorted in our family ratios. There are 8 of us girl cousins and not a single boy. So who would be surprised when the 8 of us girls would give birth to 8 boys in a row! I eventually broke the chain with the 9th baby…a girl…and that has been the trend since (6 girls now).
Sounds like my husband’s family. He has one brother (13 years older) and seven sisters! Among the cousins, there are seven boys and eleven girls. We have two boys and two girls, and each of ours has a cousin of the same gender close in age. Looking forward to Christmas with them all!
Our family tends to split along gender lines. I have four boys, my brother has four girls; my cousin has two boys, and her brother has two girls. It sorta runs in the family I guess, my dad had two boys, and his sister had twin girls.
Maybe they put something in the water here… o_O
Is Joshua wearing an Ole Miss sweatshirt?
Yep! My sister-in-law gave it to him, though neither she nor Joshua are Ole Miss fans!
Aw, My son has 2 sisters and it is always a blessing to have some male cousins over!
