15 years ago today…

Joshua’s arrival made us a family of three.

It’s weird…in some ways, it doesn’t seem all that long ago.   But then again, it’s a little bit hard to remember what life was like before we we became parents.

Really?   There used to be just two of us??

And now we have a 15 year old.

A 15 year old animal-lover who draws hilarious doodles, plays drums, guitar, and piano, takes great photos, and is a pretty awesome big brother for his three sisters.   And he is not even embarrassed to hang out with his parents.

I’m not gonna lie….if all of them were like Joshua, everyone would be anxious to have teenagers.   😉

Happy Birthday, bud…I’m so glad God put you in our family.

(We celebrated Joshua’s birthday over the weekend so his friend could sleepover.   Which is why I have birthday cake pictures to post on the morning of his birthday.)

What a sweet tribute.... brought little tears to my eyes. I am sure he knows he is equally blessed to have you as parents.

I just love reading your blog. Thanks for posting all the little things about your personal life that make us readers feel like we really know you. My 1st baby turned 5 this summer and just started Kindergarten. I don't even want to think about her turning 15. Wow! Congrats on that milestone Mama.

Aw, that brought tears to my eyes. What a great post! I have 4 boys and my oldest is 9. I think about him becoming a teenager and I am praying I feel the same as you. Can you believe you've been a mom for 15 years already? Crazy.

Yeah, it's so odd to think that he's so close to driving/graduating/college. I think I thought I'd feel...older or something at this stage of life!

I have two teenagers right now (13 and 15) and so far, I must say that teenage years are really not all that bad. In fact, Joshua is way, way easier now than he was when he was a baby/toddler. ;)
