So you’re saying this needs to be cleaned…

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I post a picture and just a few words.

dirty windowsill

I’m wondering what word is written there in the dirt….

(Doesn’t it kind of look like a written-out version of Dory’s whale-speak in Finding Nemo??)

ugh...and I have double windows! Aaand I need a ladder on the outside to reach all the windows! The only thing that bugs me about staying at home is ALL the cleaning that needs to be done and I can get things done but STILL find things to do the NEXT day...... #still trying to feel happy while sometimes feeling couped inside (cleaning often)...

You know how trucks often have "wash me" written in their dirt? My favorite dirty truck said "Dirt test #7."

I remember my brother and I wrote "Wash me" on the back of my Dad's SUV when we were teenagers. Guess who washed the car?

Hi Kristen, I have a question about home made yogurt. I heat the milk in my dutch oven like you recommended, but when I go to pour it into the other pan to cool in the sink, the milk burns to the bottom of the dutch oven as I'm pouring. Does this happen to you as well? What am I doing wrong?

Well, mine does tend to stick to the bottom of the pan as I heat the milk, so I do always have some brown stuff to scrub off the bottom of my pan. If I stood there and stirred the milk the whole time it was heating, I could prevent this, but I'm way too impatient for that, so I settle for scrubbing.

The milk is probably sticking to the bottom of the pan as the milk is heating, but you only see it and hear it once you pour the milk out, if that makes sense. Mine always sizzles some too at that point.
