Would you maybe like a free smartphone to use at Ting???

This giveaway is now closed. Congrats to Pam H, the winner of the Kyocera Rise Smartphone!

Kyocera Rise

I recently wrote about how Mr. FG and I have a two-iPhones-for-$21/month plan, which is working out really, really well for us.

(Actually, last month we paid $18 because we managed not to use any data!)

Although I didn’t originally have any relationship with Ting, after I posted about our experience with Ting Wireless, the people from Ting emailed me and asked if I’d like to give a smartphone away to you guys.

And of course, I said yes because I really love Ting’s uber-flexible, super-inexpensive service, and because if I were you, I would want to win a smartphone!

(By the way, Ting runs on the Sprint network, so if you’ve got good Sprint coverage in your area, Ting will work great for you.)

The Phone

The smartphone Ting is offering for this giveaway is a Kyocera Rise.   I haven’t personally used one of these, but it’s an Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone (I have no idea what that means!) and it has a slide-out qwerty keyboard.

And it’s all set to use on Ting’s rockin’ plan, so you can get busy slashing your cell phone bill right away.

(In case you missed my earlier post, click here to read all about how Ting’s phone plans work and about how Mr. FG and I keep our bill so low.)

How to Enter

To enter this giveaway, use Ting’s savings calculator to figure out how much you could save by switching and then share that in the comments.

Just visit Ting’s website and click on the Savings Calculator link, like so:

Leave a comment telling me how much you’d save by switching to Ting, and you’ll be entered in the giveaway.

Don’t forget that if you sign up with Ting through any of the links on my blog, you’ll get $25 to use toward your first bill or toward the purchase of a phone.

And if you’re like Mr. FG and me, that’ll cover you for a good month!   😉

The giveaway closes on Sunday night, March 23rd, so get your entry in before then.   Alaska and Hawaii residents, this giveaway is open to you guys too, so enter away.

Ting is providing the Kyocera Rise, and I am not compensated for this giveaway. I do receive an affiliate commission for anyone who signs up for Ting’s service through my links.   I am a paying customer of Ting Wireless, though, and I’d blog about their service, affiliate or not, because I think it’s totally awesome.

No savings here, but that is because we use our phone as a hotspot for home internet. We use over ten GB a month for data! Luckily, we have an unlimited data plan that we got back when there was such a thing. I am still interested in ting for their phones, though!

With just one Ting phone, we would save over $80 per month. That is a huge savings obviously. This would be awesome to win. Thanks
