Week in Pictures, for my mom. But the rest of you can read it too.

My mom normally reads my blog each day, and is consequently always in the know about what I’ve been up to. But, she’s camping right now and has spotty internet access (it cracks me up that a campsite internet cafe even exists!), so she enjoyed reading last Sunday’s picture post and I thought I’d put up another one for her.

And a lot of you said you enjoy posts that are peeks into my life anyways, so here you go… a little bit of what we’ve been doing since last Sunday.

We visited the library, and made sure to hit up Zoe’s favorite section (the one with books about aquatic creatures!).

We went swimming.

Twice.

Lisey swimming with goggles.

Because the weather here has been crazy hot. It reminds me of the super-hot summer that we had during my first pregnancy (my last trimester was comprised of June, July, and August and I swelled up like a balloon.).

I practiced some more of the taking-pictures-in-the-mirror thing. I’m going to get it figured out one of these days.

Zoe had a grand time playing with the magnetic numbers that I found as I was organizing.

Isn’t it wonderful how much fun an old toy is when it’s been missing for a while?

The girls had fun decorating the $.50 package of plain wooden beads that Sonia found at Goodwill.

I used up some extra milk by making chocolate pudding (I totally thought I’d posted the recipe here, but apparently I haven’t! I will rectify that soon). My kids love to have this in parfait glasses, and since I own exactly 4 of these, it works out perfectly.

Zoe hates cherries, though, so hers is topped only with whipped cream. 😉

Lisey helped me make Raspberry Peach freezer jam with raspberries from my parents’ garden and peaches from the produce stand.

She proudly ate her jam on a toasted whole wheat roll.

Have a lovely Sunday!

I would LOVE to have your recipe for freezer jam! I wanted to make some jam yesterday but couldn't find a good recipe, and then I ran out of time!
