Today, I’m hosting BlogHer’s $100 question series by asking about your favorite splurge item (can you guess mine??). If you leave an answer on my question page, you’ll be entered to win $100 cash from BlogHer, which is awesome (you could use it on your splurge item!). You do need to be a registered BlogHer.com user, but it’s super easy to sign up and all you need is an email address.
Go enter! $100 is at stake here, people!

I splurge on Coach purses. I really love the quality of them!
I love to splurge on pedicures!
Oh, what the heck! Big surprise here, but mine is yarn. I can try to justify it six ways to Sunday, but I do spend a lot of money on yarn.
I’m going to guess that yours is camera equipment!
My splurge is a smartphone!
Doh! I should read all the way through first. Question page, yeah.
my splurge item would be towards a new minivan doors are broken on mine, too many break-ins
My splurge is getting my hair colored. I can’t go without it..
Books…. definitely books!
My big weakness is buying presents for other people (including people I don’t know). My latest splurge was spending $100 on stuff to put in 10 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child (I try to stretch out buying stuff for the boxes over the course of the year but I couldn’t help my self). This past Christmas I spent a great deal of money on my family members because I wanted to have an individualized present for each person. I really need to limit the amount of money I spend on people…
This time of year, my splurge is flowers. I love to tuck a few new perrenials in my gardens and always add annuals for summer long color.
I also really like a good book. I’m more likely to go to the library unless I’m buying as a gift of course.
My splurge is really good, local foods, usually organic. We are foodies and we are so lame that we consider this entertainment too!
Wine.
Oh this is any any cooking/ kitchen item.
My haircut and eyebrows once a quarter is a splurge!
i like to splurge on nice lingerie
rats i did it too!
Right now it would be a chiropractor or masseuse for my neck/shoulders – hotel pillow are too soft and too big for my comfort. I may be able to swing one before I get home.
I spend any allowance I get at yard sales or thrift stores. Alway’s looking for a bargain – clothes we need or cheap toy’s for my daughter, to Christmas decorations, and dishes, yard tools, just everything, alway’s looking for things other family members may be able to use or would love. I have two nieces so I try to find stuff they can use or would enjoy. Can’t imagine paying full price for stuff. I crochet and found a nice yarn holder full of yarn and a whole set of crochet needles for just $5 bucks recently. If I save the money though I would probablly have a pedicure just once to see how it is and to maybe see exactly what they use so I can do my own a little better.
Hmmm, it’s a toss up, my hair is a must (too young to be gray yet!!) and good vitamins. I consider the vitamins an investment in my health and the hair is way beyond what I can do myself. My friend is a stylist though so I get a smokin deal!!
I usually don’t splurge on myself so in keeping with the tradition I’ll probably buy my son some clothes or shoes for school.
vacations…I save all my pennies to get away
I think you splurge on books. just an idea.
I splurge on things like hospital lottery tickets once in a blue moon.
I did it today and felt guilty about my budget, but good that it is at least going to a good charity. I can only dream of a new house…. but what a dream it is!
I splurge on Organic frozen and non-perishable food especially when I find it on sale or closeout.
