I'm new to your blog and I really enjoy reading it. Just a quick question- I notice there are stuffed toys in all the grocery pictures. What's the story behing that? Just curious. I think it's cute.

Hi Kristin,

I'm a new reader, and I really enjoy your blog. I just wanted to let you know that lately I've been getting warnings from my antivirus software that your webpage is trying to install some type of malware on my computer when I visit your blog. This malware is probably hidden in one of the ads (or other content) you have on your page, or sometimes they're even in the blog posting software (they may have gotten broken into). Anyway, just wanted to let you know.

I look forward to reading your blog every morning!

Regards,
Vanesa

OH NO. Are those Zuzu pets on the groceries? I work at a daycare and yesterday I accidentally got a hamster stuck on a child's head. I thought it was off and stuck it on her head and the wheels started turning. So her hair got tangled up into it. We got most of it out but had to cut just a teeny bit off.

I'm probably more traumatized than she is.

My homemade tortillas always turn out too thick! They are pretty tasty, though.:P I can't go grocery shopping until TUESDAY, because May is a long month.:( Luckily, I bought a ton of corn on sale at Publix, and my cucumber and zuchinni plants have been producing, so we're not stuck just eating canned and frozen stuff.!

I've heard of happy cows, but happy chickens are too much! I hope they enjoy their [frugal?] vacation.

I used to back when I was a teenager living at home...but I am currently lacking the patience to roll out tortilla after tortilla! lol To me, bread-making is a little simpler because I can roll up a loaf in a few seconds and I can bake several loaves at once. Tortillas have to be cooked one at a time, so it takes a while.

Another factor here is that I don't mind eating store-bought tortillas, but I do mind eating store-bought bread! lol

Hi Kristen,

As you are the Bread Master :) I was wondering if you have ever tried making your own tortillas?
