We like to walk early in the am and watch the Purple Martin homes we have set up over the past several years. Many pluses here ! They eat tons of mosquitoes and keep the other bugs down too. Their song is different before dawn, so it’s even better the earlier you can rise, It inspires me every year !
Our Family bought a pontoon boat last summer ( nothing fancy at all) and we like to pack up a cooler of snacks and drinks and head on the water and spend the whole day out there. Our first outing is always the last day of school as a celebration to start the summer so to speak. The kids love it and gives us some fun family time on the sun as well
