That is something I remember my gram doing when I was a kid and I've done so for years. I get some strange looks but we reuse plastic of other sorts so why not bags? A box usually lasts me six months or more, washing and reusing them (just never ones with meat touching them directly). I am amazed when I see people toss perfectly good bags out. Yeah! I just quit my job 2 months ago and am amazed how easy it is to be frugal, really. Almost every day I realize another little savings - $5 here, $10 there - it all adds up.
