well done on the veggies. We wasted evaporated milk this week. I was annoyed with myself because I'd even put it in a see through container, but I just watched it grow mould - why do we do that??!!

Sorta off topic, but I'm surprised that you buy pre-packaged deli meat... I find it to be much more expensive than just getting a 1/2 lb of sliced meat from the deli. Knowing you, I bet you had some great coupon for it though :-P

I don't think that I have ever thrown out pizza, and we have it every Friday. I will admit thought that it is me who doesn't let it go to waste. I LOVE pizza!!!

Wasted pizza! I'll be shocked if that ever happens in this house.

We had yucky meat too. The last remains of a disappointing dinner.

I've decided that cilantro is a lost cause. I can either spend twice as much to get half the amount and not compost some of it, or spend half as much and compost some. I pick the latter.

This isn't the only resource dilemma I've run into recently. Twice as much Thai fish sauce for half the price, more than I can use in the 4 years before it goes bad. Oscar Meyer Deli Creations sandwiches for $.25 each - except for the sauce not worse than buying deli meat but ouch that extra packaging. Running the dryer twice to shrink a too-large sweater to my size instead of buying a new one. How does one select between different types of waste?

My mom used to put leftover pizza in the freezer and then stick it in the toaster oven when we wanted a snack. It came out really well and actually was a lot crispier the second time around.
