My wardrobe consists of an array of long, sleeveless dresses worn over different colored long sleeved shirts! I also favor knee socks and handmade moccosins. (I hope I spelled that right!) Seriously, I wear the same thing every day! My mom claims I have some sort of disorder.:P

As if that wasn't long enough...I should also add that I think that to some degree, my genes have destined me to be a somewhat small person. I don't have particularly large bones, and I'm not especially muscular either.

I suppose that if I ate junk food and sat around all day, I would get larger, but maybe it would take me a bit longer to gain weight than it would take someone with a genetic disposition to be larger. I don't plan to try it out, though! lol I feel good when I eat mostly healthy foods, and I don't have time to sit around!

@mary The thing is, when there are homemade goodies around ALL the time, it's not so tempting to overindulge. If you only get homemade bread once in a blue moon, then you will probably feel like eating 5 slices at a time. But when you know that there will be bread the next day and the next day and the next day, it's much easier to exercise some self-control!

Plus, the vast majority of my baking is bread baking. If I did a lot of cookie/cake/bar kind of baking, I might end up a little larger. lol

And I don't just eat bread...it's a part of my diet, but I also eat oatmeal, yogurt, fruits, vegetables, meats, nuts, beans, and so on (and marshmallow pumpkins!). Mostly, I focus on trying to eat real food, and I try not to eat excessive amounts (kinda like Michael Pollan suggests, although I eat fewer vegetables than he would like!).

I'm also really busy every day...I don't spend a lot of time sitting still, so I think I must burn a decent amount of calories hanging laundry, cleaning, cooking, giving baths, vacuuming, and so on.

Katy, if I had actually gone to a prom, I might wear the dress. But, I have no prom dress to wear while baking. lol

William, I notice a big difference between 65 and 68. But, we gotta do what we gotta do.

Battra, my husband thinks I'm awfully good-looking, but I think he is terribly biased just because he loves me (he often thinks I look gorgeous when any reliable source would disagree!). I don't think my looks are anything spectacular (though, by the same token, I am not terribly obsessed with my flaws either), but that's ok. I'd really prefer that people love me for me, you know? So, stop stressing about your glasses and the balding pate...worry about WHO you are instead of what you look like.

Kristin, I'm actually 31 (and a half, if you're counting! lol). And thank you.

Lindsey, in that photo I was cracking up at Joshua because he was making a funny face while snapping my picture. That's my very unsophisticated, wrinkled-nose, laughing out loud face. lol

Kathleen, I think he's going to be a good photographer. It's interesting to see how much he imitates me when he's taking pictures...he's paying attention and learning!

Boy, Joshua is a terrific photographer. :) He's not just taking a photograph, he's composing an image. The difference between the two things isn't something that most people understand until they are much older. He certainly has talent!
