Instead of blogging this morning, I went to visit my delightful little nephew, who I’ve been photographing faithfully since his birth in May. I haven’t seen him since the beginning of September, and my goodness, he has grown!

He’s such a cooperative little guy right now.

He smiles if you so much as look at him.  Love it.

Sigh. I love being his personal photographer.

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with frugality (unless you are my sister and are getting oodles of free portrait sessions!), but I thought it might be more interesting than going entirely without a post today. And how could you not enjoy looking at this much cuteness??

I promise I will be back on topic tomorrow.

Wow, I can see the family genes on both sides! Having seen all his dad’s siblings grow up and most of his mom’s family, it’s lots of fun watching the ‘xerox’ machine! Giggles and grins!

What a cutie. Gotta love those Bumbos, too…(got ours at a garage sale and enjoyed having it).

Ah, but isn’t part of your “topic” about how life is good in and of itself, and how we don’t have to go out and spend tons of money to have “fun”? It’s easy to get caught up in material stuff and to forget to enjoy what is right in front of us. Thanks for a great post!

It’s my pleasure, sister dear. :) I love taking pictures of babies (especially when they are so stinking cooperative!).
