Yay! I love challah. I’ve been meaning to teach my new husband how to make it but have never found a suitable recipe comparable to my grandmother’s. I’m excited to try yours!
Really looking forward to this. I made challah once and it was so much fun and so impressive to guests because of the braiding thing. It was delicious, but I have no idea where the recipe came from. It was almost 20 years ago!
Ymmm, challah. I like ripping off a chunk of braid and dipping it in garlic butter. A friend of mine has a superb recipe, soft and rich and tasty. I’ll have to do a bake-off. Because if one challah is good, two are better. It might take several retests to arrive at a definitive answer.
Hi! I'm Kristen, but I'm better known as the Frugal Girl around these parts. I'm delighted to have you here, and I hope that the cheerful, frugal living I blog about will inspire you.
